How long does the diagnostic check take?
Most inspections are completed within 15โ30 minutes. Complex cases such as MacBooks, cameras, or faulty devices may take a little longer.
How will I receive my payout?
Instantly via DuitNow or bank transfer once you accept the final offer. Cash payouts may be available for in-store transactions โ confirm with us when you visit.
Can I sell a smartphone with a cracked screen?
Yes. We buy phones with cracked screens, but the offer will be adjusted to reflect repair cost.
Can I sell a phone that has low battery health?
Yes. Battery health below 80% affects the offer but doesn't disqualify the device.
Can I sell without the original box or accessories?
Yes. The box and accessories add value, but they're not required.
Do you require the original purchase receipt?
Not always, but a receipt or proof of ownership helps speed up the process โ especially for high-value devices.
Do you buy faulty or non-functional gadgets?
Often, yes. Send us the details via WhatsApp and we'll let you know if we can make an offer.
Do you buy iCloud-locked or activation-locked devices?
No. We only buy devices that are fully signed out and where Find My / Activation Lock has been removed.
Can I courier my device to Berry Nice?
Yes. Message us first โ we'll walk you through packaging, courier choice, and how the inspection-then-payout flow works for remote sellers. Courier transactions are subject to Berry Nice verification, inspection, and courier handling policy.
Do I need to reset my device before selling?
We recommend it. Back up first, sign out of all accounts (iCloud, Google, Samsung), then factory reset. If you're unsure, we can guide you in-store.
What documents do I need when selling my phone?
For safety and ownership verification, sellers may be required to provide a valid MyKad, passport, or company document before completing the transaction. For higher-value devices, the original purchase receipt or any proof of ownership is also helpful but not always required.
