- 1. Back up first. A reset is permanent. See how to back up your phone.
- 2. Sign out of your accounts. Remove iCloud / Find My on iPhone, or Google / Samsung accounts on Android (FRP). See remove iCloud and remove Google FRP.
- 3. Factory reset. Erase all content and settings so the device is clean for the next owner.

Frequently asked questions
Should I wipe my phone before selling it to Berry Nice?+
Yes — always back up first, then sign out of your accounts (iCloud / Find My, Google / Samsung) and factory reset. This protects your data and removes the locks that would otherwise make the device unsellable. We can guide you in-store if you need help.
What happens to my data after I sell?+
A factory reset permanently erases your personal data from the device before it moves on. We do not keep, copy, or access your photos, messages, or accounts. If a device still has data when handed over, we ask you to reset it first.
Do you access my files during inspection?+
No. Our inspection tests hardware and functionality — screen, battery, cameras, biometrics, lock status. We do not browse your personal files, photos, or messages.
What about devices that can’t be reset (won’t turn on)?+
Tell us upfront. For devices that can’t be reset, we’ll explain your options during inspection. The device must still not be iCloud-locked or FRP-locked.
